Meet Tara
Tara Rossine, LCSW - NJ, NY, & FL
Hello! I am an OCD specialist who also works with body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs like skin picking & hair pulling), anxiety, and trauma. Does everyday life feel mentally exhausting? Do you constantly doubt yourself, second-guess decisions, or replay conversations? Do you overanalyze social interactions, relationships, identity, or past mistakes - never feeling certain? Do you repeat behaviors or mental rituals to reduce anxiety or prevent harm? Or struggle with health anxiety - checking your body, Googling symptoms, or still feeling worried even after a doctor says you're ok? If so, you're not alone - these patterns are treatable with evidence-based care.
I've worked in mental health clinics and for online platforms and am licensed in NY, NJ, and FL as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I am trained in evidence-based care including: Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Habit Reversal Training (HRT), Behavioral Activation (BA), and Trauma-Focused CBT. Evidence-based care means using treatments that have been carefully studied and shown to actually work, while also tailoring them to you and your specific goals.
I have an online therapy practice and have evening hours, I want to make therapy work for you! I like to use humor as well as mindfulness in my work and I have structured sessions where you will get to see the goals you set achieved. My hope in our work together is that you will walk away with practical strategies for how to manage daily life and triggers that naturally come up.
